I was able to take in one of your shows recently, and by chance I also visited another show at another bar the same night.
What a difference! At the other bar, the band played excellent music but got scattered applause. At your show, the audience shouted, applauded strongly, and danced. The emotion you were able to evoke -- even in a sad song -- was much more powerful. At the other bar, I liked the way a couple of sexy women looked at me, but at your show people didn't stop at quietly admiring my clothes. At the other bar, people watched television and sat or stood calmly chatting. At your show, people were energized and beyond merely happy. The other bar was sparsely populated; yours was crowded, and it was loud even when your band was not playing.
Judging from the sounds on videos of other performances and a show I just missed at Camp Gaea, the enthusiasm I saw is normal.
I also noticed the number of admiring -- and sometimes adoring -- fans you have!
You are very young but you seem to me to be more and more powerfully evoking as time passes. You also seem to be a responsible business person. I expect you will be doing bigger and bigger shows in the future.
I am looking forward to your next album with excitement. :)
